Terms of Service

1. Prototype status

MindGrow Stories is an early prototype offered for limited testing and feedback. Features, availability, and data handling may change without notice.

By creating an account or using the service, you confirm that you understand this is not a finished commercial product.

2. Who may use the service

The service is intended for parents or legal guardians creating stories for children. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to accept these terms.

You are responsible for the information you enter about children and for obtaining any consent required in your jurisdiction before uploading photos or personal details.

3. Your account

You agree to provide accurate contact information, keep your password confidential, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

We may suspend or end access if we reasonably believe the service is being misused or poses a risk to other users or to children.

4. AI-generated content

Stories, illustrations, and other outputs are generated automatically by artificial intelligence. They may contain errors, inconsistencies, or material that does not match your intent.

Generated characters and plots are fictional unless you supply real-world details. We do not guarantee factual accuracy, educational outcomes, or suitability for every child.

You may use generated books for personal, non-commercial purposes during the prototype. Do not rely on the service for medical, therapeutic, or legal advice.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use the service to create harmful, violent, sexual, hateful, or otherwise inappropriate content for children.

Do not upload content you do not have the right to use, attempt to break security controls, or overload the service with automated requests.

6. Data handling

We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. In short: account details and your book inputs are stored on our servers; some data also stays in your browser until you clear it.

When you run generation, text and images may be sent to third-party AI providers configured for this deployment (for example OpenAI or Google). See the Privacy Policy for details.

Generated books and their server-side files (images, PDFs, and related job data) are automatically deleted after 30 days unless you remove them sooner or delete your account. Download a PDF if you want to keep a permanent copy.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted operation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the prototype, including loss of data or reliance on generated content.

9. Changes

We may update these terms for the prototype. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms.
